We embrace behavioural science and employ various nudge techniques to prompt contact and payment. Where necessary, attendances are focused during ‘golden hours’ to maximise contact and speed up the recovery process.
Vulnerable debtors and council tax
All back office staff and enforcement agents are fully trained to recognise telephone and face-to-face triggers which might indicate vulnerability ensuring we identify and assist individuals most at risk during the early stages of the process.
Excel Civil Enforcement is the only enforcement agency delivering the unique level 3 qualification in Vulnerability and Mental Health Awareness in relation to Enforcement Practices, endorsed by CILEx and Skills for Justice.
We also run workshops on vulnerability, which are available to local authority clients.
